Re: Pangya: a.k.a. Albatross 18, GOFL

Not to be the buzzkill here, but a friendly reminder that the reason I stopped playing Pangya in earnest was because the nProtect GameGuard anti-hack "solution" the game comes with is also a rootkit. Not the type that's liable to melt your system overnight, but the type that may or may no...

Pangya: a.k.a. Albatross 18, GOFL

http://i.imgur.com/vRidCk6.jpg Well, since I'm trying to dust off the ol' Dream 17 account, might as well dust this off at the same time. See if we can't relive the glory days of when we had this thread on RealVG. For those who haven't seen it before and need a quick summary, Pangya is a very silly...

Re: Dwarf Fortress: Oh, We're Doing This

All the fun of the fortress.

And yeah, crafting things out of bone and shell is an excellent way to recycle rubbish (says the guy who hasn't played this thing in years). Only downside is, you can't trade it with elves. But hey: elves.

Re: The 100% Unofficial Thread

All right, let's see if I can stick around this time :p. I even made the forum one of my home pages, so you never know! I'd be up for some Worms - preferably Armageddon, but I could do Reloaded (never got the hang of Revolution, sadly - I couldn't even get through the tutorial because the new rope c...

Re: The 100% Unofficial Thread

Somebody explain to me what Risk of Rain is? There is this magical thing called Google, but Google tracks you so I'm afraid to use it. So here is your gift of wisdom: http://store.steampowered.com/app/248820/ Who is Paul anyways? Bit late on this, but hiya. This thread is apparently a tribute to a ...

Well, I was only there for two weeks. And I had to ask if it would be compatible, which fortunately with Nintendo's handhelds being region free, it was.

*finally gets Worms Armageddon*

Yes, I've finally got (for my birthday) the game that my computer couldn't cope with when it first came out, and that when I upgraded my computer WWP was just around the corner so like a fool I waited for it.

So, what funky stuff can I expect from the beta updates?

Given that a) 2D is what the majority of fans would prefer anyway and b) the limitations of the consoles would effectively give you Hogs of War but with Worms, I can't say I agree with you.

Well MOD music describes a lot. Your STYLE of background music will be relative to the style of game. If it's light-hearted, Super-frog. If it's more serious, then Sonic. IMHO the best way to make game MOD music is come up with a little melody, and build around it using a recognisable, easy-to-repl...

I've had an idea for an article I could write

Although it's not especially Team 17ey (fairly retro and nostalgic, though), and quite a few people might consider it a dull subject (although obviously I don't). I'd like to call it "Manual or Automatic?" and have it talk about computer game manuals, how cool they used to be, and how ther...
