Re: Questionable Worms Art of Yesteryear.
So does anybody else remember this? http://benpaddon.net/storage/z72r.png I did a series of Worms in a reimagined first-generation style way back when. The goal was to create a style closer in look to the original Worms, but still slightly cartoonish. Looking back, I'm rather proud of this one. It's...

Re: New game by Doug TenNapel & Co.
The first two Earthworm Jim games were two of my favourite platform games of the 90s, and I even enjoyed EWJ3D to an extent. But it's so difficult not to look through his work through this lens of bigotry now. There are a lot of other people working on this project, yes. I actually know some of the ...

Re: New game by Doug TenNapel & Co.
I have a fun story to tell about Doug TenNapel. I met him at San Diego Comic-Con 2009, when I was exhibiting with SoulGeek for the delayed-but-still-awesome launch of the first (and, haha, only) Jump Leads print collection. I told him I was a huge fan and was familiar with all of his work. "Wha...

Re: Worms Clan Wars
I don't want realistic physics in my bloody Worms game. I just want internally consistent physics, and that's more or less what we got from the first and second generation 2D titles.

Great suggestion, Star! But because you specifically suggested it, I have to turn down your request. Sorry.

Re: Worms Clan Wars
After the disaster that was Revolution, and the generally poor handling of 2D Worms over the last six years, I can't say I'm particularly optimistic about Clan Wars. And Superfrog HD looks like shit. It does. I wish it didn't. The game deserves so much better than the sub-par Flash game artwork we'r...

If you have a credit or debitcard and room on your 3DS's SD card you can buy it from the eShop for $35.

Blimey, I think I remember that one. Were you using that one during our Wormtopia/Planet Worms days?

Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Is anybody else playing New Leaf right now? I've been playing since launch and I'm absolutely in love with it.
If you're at all interested, my 3DS Friend Code is 5043-1877-6294. Add me, let me know your code, and maybe we can visit each other's villages (or at least race in Mario Kart 7).

Re: The Dream17 Vending Machine
You receive a vending machine. Bizarrely, it is slightly larger than the vending machine it has been dispensed by, and there is no conceivable way it could have been vended by the slot it came from, but nevertheless. Tentatively, you place a coin inside the new vending machine. It vends an elderly R...

Should we hide/archive the pre-2007 threads?
The forum looks a little cluttered with all these old posts. Obviously we shouldn't delete them, but perhaps they could be archived. Thoughts?
