Re: Negative Events and Occurrences 3.0

What've you been using your left thumb for? I had a crappy mouse at my first job that hurt my right thumb, but no lasting damage thankfully.

My location is off the side of the map at the default zoom level. :( I have made a note of all your locations and I am coming for you with a double-barrelled flamethrower under each arm.

Calf muscle cramp, hooray for screaming in pain in the middle of the night. Was hard to get to sleep when my nerves were trolling me, making me think it was going to happen again.

Nice work so far! I never did learn Mr Green's back story  If you want to make a few more, how about: :X http://forums.punkas.com/images/smilies/icon_silent.gif (hold back from saying anything/wish you hadn't said something) Or a facepalm http://forums.punkas.com/images/smilies/Emoticon-Fac...

Re: Should we hide/archive the pre-2007 threads?

I voted no as they seem harmless to me. Once there's enough new threads to fill pages, they'll be a lot less noticeable. If archiving means creating an Archive sub-forum, that might tickle your senses every time you look at the forum index.

Re: Well, it's officially down. :c

12 years is not a bad run. I was there or thereabouts for nearly 11 of them. I didn't really participate in the fan art side of things, but Dream17 ought to make a suitable home for it. It reminds me that time is marching on and I should get on with some of the things I've been procrastinating on. ;...

Re: Can we change the smilies?

Pissed has various meanings, all equally delightful. "Wanna go out an' get pissed?" - Want to get drunk? "He really pissed me off!" - He really annoyed/upset me "Back in a 'mo. Gotta take a piss." - Back in a minute, I need to urinate. Pissed all over, pissed away, pis...

Re: The Top 20 Cartoon Series of All Time

I find it hard enough to remember which cartoons I spent a lot of time watching, let alone which ones should be considered great now. The Hanna-Barbera stuff was probably always my favourite style. My list might look something like 2 Stupid Dogs, Spongebob Squarepants, South Park, Teenage Mutant Nin...

The network still exists. 3rd party clients like Trillian and Digsby will keep working on there until October or so.

Re: Wormers we've lost contact with

NZkiwi is the main one I can think of. Other names that come to my mind didn't necessarily use the T17 forum a lot (if at all), but I had good times with fNOrd, Ass9, Rumble, Tjerp, a|2cane, Garg0yle, Scribe, shamballa and more. I never really was one for remembering real names, if I even asked in t...

Re: FRIST

I like how the forum happily showed unread 2007 threads, like a robot being switched on, ready to resume service to its masters.

Since 2007... I moved 500km North. Visited Europe for the first time, where my sister got married. I played Worms less and less, although I gave Worms Reloaded a good go.

It should be pretty easy to record the sounds from WinUAE using Windows Sound Recorder or whatever. You just need to go into Volume Control and set recording to be on the Stereo Mix/Wave Out Mix.

Moxy, your clone is rather well done! The acceleration of Superfrog is noticeably different, particularly when running and then changing directions. I have written code for very different hardware on just about every level imaginable, starting with straight up machine code and to high level language...

Heh, quote from Spadge's blog:
Oh and it appears that Jamie is going to try and convince the other directors here that we buy a company race-horse. I like the idea, as long as it can be called "Superfrog" :)

There's a couple of PS/2 mice sitting around at my work, but most of the laptops don't have the port to plug them into.

There isn't any, unfortunately. Custom schemes are kept in SaveGame.xom, not sure about the default ones, they might be kept in there too.

You can't discount Luther's avatar on the T17 forums though can you? His avatar tells us they must at least be thinking about a Superfrog game for PSP or DS.
