Problem is, it would pretty much have to be 3D to get publisher interest. They can't get Worms back in 2D, so I find it hard to see how SuperFrog could.

Well, for a start, you posting one month ago and then wondering why it isn't happening isn't exactly a prompt to Team17.
Spadge did say that the idea of a sequel to Superfrog was "just a concept - they are created all the time". Basically, they have very little interest in SF at the moment. It would be a lot more profitable to create a new Worms game, or maybe another Alien Breed, as that would capitalise on their franchise more.

hmmm
i got an idea...
team17 should do what sega did, with sonic mega collection and put all there best games on one disk for gamecube,ps2,or xbox.
it could have superfrog, alien breed, and project x, and some worms games.. all the best classics.
i would buy it....

It's not so much about Team17 doing it, but rather if a publisher would at all be interested in releasing it. That and they'd have to physically port the Amiga games to whatever system they wanted to use (unless they licensed the Kickstart ROMs from Amiga Technologies, which I expect would cost a fortune).

Well, Superfrog, Alien Breed and Project X were released for PC.

For the PC ports of SF, PX &c., 95% of the code had to be rewritten. In the case of SF, Arden did all that himself.
Nowadays, however, the games industry is ailing from people quickly cashing in and therefore most non-inhouse ports are likely to be rubbish. If they DO make another SF, they'd better not ask THQ.
