Superfrog 2
When I started playing Superfrog, I was so addicted to it and I was wondering if Team17 are making Superfrog 2. I know it's still early days knowing or not but if anyone knew anything, at least there would be hope. .

Where were rumours a few years ago, but there's nothing concrete. Team17 are looking to bring our amphibious hero back, but they've not elaborated on how they intend to do it.

How is it "early days", exactly, for a sequel to a game released in 1993?diablo vt wrote:When I started playing Superfrog, I was so addicted to it and I was wondering if Team17 are making Superfrog 2. as my name says.... i think they should bring back superfrog.
i don't know why they didin't.....WHY...WHY?
they should at least make a remake for the game boy or something so you can play it on the move...
... that would be ace..

Still, though, it's only early days if they're making one, and that's because they haven't mentioned one. The chance exists that they're making a Superfrog game, but that's been true more-or-less consistently for the past thirteen years. Hardly "early days".SupSuper wrote:He meant "early days for knowing or not".AndrewTaylor wrote:How is it "early days", exactly, for a sequel to a game released in 1993?diablo vt wrote:When I started playing Superfrog, I was so addicted to it and I was wondering if Team17 are making Superfrog 2. Would it really be nice? What could Team17 provide that you haven't already experienced? I don't see the point in making a Superfrog game unless it's worth making one. If they made it a 3D game there wouldn't be enough room alongside Sonic and if it was 2D it would come out for your phone. So it would be better if Team17 didn't waste their time.

If it were 2D it could well make it to the DS, GBA or PSP. And I don't think Sonic can compete in 3D, to be honest.worMatty wrote:If they made it a 3D game there wouldn't be enough room alongside Sonic and if it was 2D it would come out for your phone. I had the fortune of meeting Martyn Brown face-to-face at the London Games Career Fair on Tuesday, and I asked about the possibility of a Superfrog sequel. Martyn said that there were no plans (and he also admitted that Major Malfunction was rubbish).
