I've never actually played the SE version just the first one and Tower Assault for the CD32. I've been meaning to download SE at some point though!

At the Intex computer, right at the start of Level 1.

I've played Alien Breed: Tower Assault. Bloody hard thing it is, too.

Too bad Alien Breed 2004 got cancelled. Those screens looked awesome! I would have loved something like that.

Well, maybe if Team17 get their finger out, we'll see a new Alien Breed game in the not too far future.

The PC version is rubbish. I refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Not sure if I totally agree with you. Of course, the original is better, but the PC version is not totally rubbish. I started playing it a week ago, when I only had access to an old 486 (I wouldn't try WinUAE on that). It wasn't bad. Also, the graphics look totally different, which is cool.

And what is this: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/xavnet/alienbreed/? Never seen that before.

Hi all, first post,

Yep I'm responsible for the Alien Breed SE retro remake, I hope y'all enjoy it and maybe brought back memories :) It certainly sticks out as one of my favourites from the Amiga.

Feel free to give feedback/suggestions/ideas etc.
More levels and nasty alien mothers coming to a screen near you soon!

all i have to complain about is the menu. the original one looked all digital and with neat effects, yours is plain boring. i know it's just a menu, but i'm just picky like that :P
oh, and is it just me or does the music play "speeded up"?

What I'd like to see is a decent 3D remake of Alien Breed Tower Assault, in a similar style to the unreleased Alien Breed 2004. ABTA is definitely my favourite Alien Breed game.
