Spot the ripoff...

Post by M3ntal » Tue Jun 14, 2005 11:21 am

I was listening to the music from a game called Lazy Jones on the C64 from 1983, and i came across an interesting little tune. Download yourselves a SID player and check out the last track in this attachment. Recognise it?

I probably will when I get home and downlaod the player. Apparently it wasn't uncommon for game musicians to completely rip off other bits of game music during the 70s and 80s (Allister Brimble has admitted to this himself on a couple of occasions earleiri n his career).

Well, if that isn't the song they have been playing at every damn hockey game ever. When was that remixed and released, and what is it called?
