Resident Evil 4

Post by Squirminator2k » Sun Mar 20, 2005 5:59 pm

Amy p[icked this up for me yesterday and I have to say, it's blown me away. I've died three times, I've saved eight times, and I'm being very, very careful. This game is scaring the crap out of me.

I've yet to try this game; will be renting this game on Monday.

And besides, I'm willing to see if the game scares me.

I'm still very much stuck at RE4. I've not had the ugre to play it, but I have been reading up FAQs for the game to find out how to get past where I am now...

Not really, no :D

Am used to horror games, it feels I'm immune to the scaryness content.

I've heard that Half-Life 2's scarier than any Resident Evil. =P

Yes, HL2 is, but that's like saying Pokemon is darker than the Tellytubbies. Neither is really dark. Just like neither are really scary ;)

Now for real horror, you want AVP/AVP2.

I've watched other people play it, though I've never been a fan of gory games.

How the crap do you deal with chainsaw dude with a bag over his head?

And why are all these people whose weapons are agricultural implements carrying ammunition?

i only have the first Resident Evil, which includes DirectX 2 :P

and the only game that has truly scared me was AITD. sure i was much younger when i played it, but it was quite a scary game. also one of the first games to go for that genre, and pulled it off quite well.
