Wow! That is an impressive graphic upgrade for ye olde Runescape!

Sure it's better than old Runescape graphics on a technical level, but remember that you are comparing the graphics of a 12 year old game with something created today (I assume)... of course it's going to look better. It's like comparing the value money from 50 years ago with today's money, you need to adjust for inflation, and once you've done that we can see that it's only slightly better looking.
The main problem is that the game went from having a unique ugliness to it that actually made it kind of charming, to looking like any other generic bottom-of-the-barrel medieval themed game out there.
It's just not quite bad enough to stand out from the crowd anymore. :/

But of course it'll stick out, it's grey and brown! Who else would make a game using primarily grey and brown?!

If you think this stuff looks really attractive, um... :|

I remember watching a video about this, where they proudly announced such exciting new features as skyboxes, draw distance and bloom.

The PC port of Mortal Kombat is actually pretty good, though the online is terrible.

Sonic & Acquaintances Of Varying Origin High-Velocity Unsafe Transformative Automotive Vehicular Racing Activity Event is having a free weekend apparently, and is 75% off. Good deal for a pretty dang ol' fun game.

Steam also appears to be updating it for some reason I can't quite identify.

Edit: I've been told they just added a new character. Well I'll be assed. Doesn't sound like a very interesting one, but hey, free content.

Speaking of free weekends, crazy deals and other things I have mentioned before, Killing Floor is also in a free weekend to celebrate its game mode update, and is on sale for... what? $4? Oh wow.

I have Killing Floor but I have played it exactly zero times.

This is a shame. We should play it some time.

I own Killing Floor. Played it for a little bit, then didn't.

It's worth it, but I'm banking on the whole Sonic collection going on at least a 50% sale in the Summer Sales.

I'd buy either, but I'm also painfully, hilariously broke right now.

I am genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed Sonic and All Team Racing Go Fast. Bloody good fun. Pity I'm trying to spend as little money as possible right now, or I'd buy it in a flash.

I went ahead and bought Sonic and Significant Others Driving Super All-Terrain Vehicular Transforming Science Mobiles for Reasons of Speed.

It's a pretty good game, I like the Team Fortress character, though it's pretty easy to tell the voice actors are different, but I'm letting that slide since it's an entirely different company.

I don't get that they could use the models but apparently decided to record some crappy new vocal quips instead of getting a better result from just recycling the native TF2 ones.
