I refuse to accept that the bean is out of the picture yet. It has to have some kind of power..

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to put this on a somewhat more official hiatus because my tablet isn't agreeing with me.

I know, try to withstand the shock.

Pow! You draw on Sigma. Fool never saw it coming! Nice reflexes, nerd!

Image
Sigma either fails to notice you or resolutely ignores you.

Image
Just when you're starting to think Sigma is actually pretty cool, his stoicism is disrupted by a sudden string of PG-rated curses. Looks like he spotted whatever he was looking for. A stupid-looking but easy-to-draw airship hovers in the distance. It deploys something which swoops towards you.

Image
Your basic hovering screen, you guess. Sigma identifies it as an EVLTek Expositron. Used for convenient long-distance monologues. He used to have several, but never got a chance to use them due to someone's weird basement antics.

It's displaying static right now, but a shadowy shape slowly comes into focus.
Image
"Zero," says the shape. "I hope you didn't think you could defeat me by serendipitously surviving a plane explosion and then just leaving space/time for a while."

"I," you begin to quip, but you run out of quip immediately. "I see you've found a little friend, too," says the figure. You explain that Sigma isn't exactly a friend.

"Well," says the shadowy guy, "prepare to do some bonding."

Image
Sigma starts to complain to the screen that he's totally stealing all of the cool villain shtick he never got a chance to launch, but he's drowned out by the noisy crackling of some sort of beam fired from the Expositron into the ground. "Have fun with these," says the guy, whose voice is kind of cool even though he doesn't have an accent or anything.

"By the way, nice little dagger," he adds, as the screen begins to retreat back to the airship. "Kind of a prototype though."

Image
The forumspace tremors.

Image
And zombies start coming out of it.

Image
Freaking zombies, you observe. What is it with these things? Are they not done to death?

Sigma concurs, then asks how many members this forum had.

80,000ish? you guess.

Sigma sighs. He didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't this.

Image
You remember to collect the •flatbean•.

Freaking awesome.
Zero, we need to try and get Munkee back here too. Don't let him be fat about it.

Prepared though you were to cooperate, numerous voices in your head suddenly command you to start screwing Sigma over. You try to shove him. He resists with alarmingly little evident effort. This guy is freakishly sure on his feet. Or, uh. Gastrofoot.

>steal Sigma's weapon for your own use
Image
You make a sophomoric grab for Sigma's weapon. He manages to hang onto it.

Image
You end up just kind of clinging to Sigma like an idiot while he sallies forth and racks up a bunch of zombie kills.

Hmm. Maybe that guy was right about bonding. You certainly are unusually close to Sigma at the moment.

Sigma responds by just flailing his saber like a lunatic. This turns out to be a perfectly effective way to deal with a bunch of worm zombies.

>whisper sweet nothings into his ear
Image
There are two problems with this plan. Firstly, Sigma doesn't seem to have anything even approximating ears. Second, that's freakin' weird and you don't want to do it.

Image
uh

Image
Oh, apparently he's decided to get your weight off him by using you as a weapon.

Ha ha, there's no way this is going to work.

Image

Image
Yes. Sweet. Best plan.

Image
Never mind this plan is stupid.

Image

Sure, you do that maybe. Good job!

Maybe not a terrib-

Image

-le idea. But you're pretty sure it'd just be full of more zombies. You can't just hang around and be swarmed by thousands of barely-mobile dead forever. There must be some esoteric solution to the problem.
