Construction Work
Posted in Archived by Squirminator2k at 21/10/04 11:30pm CEST

Work on the next Content Update is underway. Odds are that after this coming update there might be another Content Update before Christmas, but hopefully I'll be in a position to make regular updates by January - February at the latest. I would, if all goes well, like to have the Softography+ finished by March 20th - our one year anniversary.

Wow, we've had bugger-all for hits in the past year, huh.

Dream17 Magazine Coverage
Posted in Archived by Squirminator2k at 11/10/04 12:26am CEST

As you may recall, a few months ago a German Retro-gaming magazine by the name of Lotek64 did an article on Pooka's ever awesome SuperFrog site, as I'm sure you would if you ran a Reto-gaming magazine in any language. Now they've mentioned this lil' site in their News section as well! Very spiffy, eh? They are sending me a copy of the magazine in the post so I'll get some scans up when I can.

[Edit by Pooka] Austrian, actually. Not that it makes any difference, the language is more or less the same.

NOOOOOO! - Alien breed 2005 Cancelled...?
Posted in Archived by Squirminator2k at 05/10/04 12:58pm CEST

Following this bit of news yesterday, I dropped Martyn Brown an email asking him if he could shed some light on the Alien Breed 2005 situation. In his emaile he stated, amongst other things, that "Breed is not on our current agenda, unfortunately."

But then Spadge made a post in the Alien Breed Fan-Remake thread which pretty much sealed AB2K5's fate - it seems that the latest version of one of Team17's greatest franchises is cancelled. I didn't want to believe it (as you can see by reading my post in that thread...), but there it is in black and white.

Rest in Peace, AB2K5.
