Fair point.

Still, they say love hurts... :P

I think we went over those points too fast - we derailed the thread.

I'd suspect that smaller teams create games with fewer bugs because they all know the code and have consistent code. Then again it could be because the games are simpler... I want to play RollerCoaster Tycoon now. Has anyone here managed to get it working on XP? Locomotion has one glaring design fa...

(EDIT: I'm allowed to say that. I like golf, despite its faults. And I love cricket, despite it having a very similar one - namely, long periods of time between actual bits of action) Like a relationship, then. It would be impressive if the "long periods of time" in a relationship were 45...

Edit: Gah! T17 have delleted my W3D Map Viewer thread. Now, what harm did that do to anyone? It isn't even a tool. It just lets you LOOK at the maps. W3D Map Editor is now officially my #1 priority. Go for it. I don't entirely agree with the W4 to W3D converter thingy (although I admire the fact yo...

Yes, which is why they tend not to do that right away, but rather wait to see if the person keeps comming back. However, it isn't such a big problem. The way I understand it, this IP block only works to prevent one from registering an account, so if some active user falls into the blocked IP range,...

Although (I haven't read MH, this is going on what I've heard) in Mostly Harmless Arthur meets someone who is apparantly the child of him and Trillian.

To be honest, I think the series gets a bit whacked beyond LUE.

I had Links (well, my dad did). IT said in the manual that if you cranked it up to full it might take anywhere up to 20 minutes. Then you play golf for forty five seconds and let it draw again. "Realistic Golf Simulator" (EDIT: I'm allowed to say that. I like golf, despite its fault...

I wouldn't say it sucks. It's not great, I'll admit. But it's not great in an interesting way. Which beats, say, Milton Keynes.

EDIT: It also failed to get into the Top 50 Crap Towns, which featured Cardiff among others.

Heh, I remember when I got that expansion course for Links. That took an absolute age to redraw. Even good ol' Torrey Pines South took about twenty seconds to redraw.

I was so amazed when Microsoft Golf 2 got the redraw done in a couple of seconds.

Why not?

Tiger Woods' PGA Tour Thingummy looks pretty 3D to me.

And I imagine anything that could run on an old 386 (read: Links 1) could run on a GBA.

I've watched other people play it, though I've never been a fan of gory games.

How the crap do you deal with chainsaw dude with a bag over his head?

And why are all these people whose weapons are agricultural implements carrying ammunition?
