I love how Totally-Not-Megaman that is. :P It's pretty much gonna get funded in one day.

Re: Worms Clan Wars

Yeah the Scientist worm definitely strikes me more as an Engie given his active role is more focused on placing Sentries/Magnets.
As for the Heavy, the ammo belt might work, or possibly a Sandvich trinket.

Re: 17's Company/72 Ways to Die

The Worm Stories join the historical preservation. Unlike Worm Mad's stories, these were posted out in the open in the early days of the forum (before OD?). It started as just a silly forum game but ended up evolving into a whole series. Probably still very silly though. :P

Re: 17's Company/72 Ways to Die

After re-listening to the audio episodes, I can only assume internet communication in the 90s was all done via tin cans connected by string. Er... you do realise the audio eps were made by editing various sounds people had sent me together? We didn't record it live (ala TeamSpeak or whatever). Some...

Re: The Big Steam Thread

Is a coupon for 90% off Left 4 Dead 2 a thing that anyone might even slightly want? I have no interest in the game whatsoever. By any chance does it say it's valid for sales too? Because if so, I want it! I don't have L4D2 yet, but... even at €2, I'm not sure it's worth it. I wasn't a big fan of L4...

Re: 17's Company/72 Ways to Die

I suggested to Worm Mad that the Dream17 Fan Fiction section would make a good home. After all, do you remember the Fan Fiction section? Did you even know it existed? Of course you don't. Nobody does. It's been there since the website's inception with just one thing. Forever. All alone. I bet none o...

Re: Worms Clan Wars

I've set up a clan for Dream17, find it on the list (it's probably under Europe & Private) or add me on Steam for an invite.

Re: Worms Clan Wars

WormNet works fine for me, though I can't seem to access the Clan Wars server. :( Edit: The clan portal seems down too. Hmm... looks like the Beta Workshop stuff still isn't on there, I'm betting you guys are going to have to re-upload your stuff! Yeah the Beta and Full workshops are separate, stuff...

CHEESE?!?!?!?!?!! ROFL Guess what my beta soundbank has been. ;) I'll join you in that. I'm happy to save what money I can where I can, and willing to give this worms a shot. Will have to give up on the 4-pack idea I think, can't get anyone else interested! Sure I'm game, although I'll never get ri...

Re: Superfrog Exact Remake

Why? There are some other remakes, and this is a fan stuff :) Because remaking a game exactly as it was originally and releasing that is generally something companies don't want you to do. Particularly now when Team17 is releasing their own remake of superfrog. There are many open-source remakes th...

Built myself a gaming rig. i7 3770k 3.5GHz 8GB RAM GeForce GTX 780 120GB SSD 1TB HDD 8-) 8-) 8-) So... yeah, I can play real games now. :D I love how gaming computers have plateau'd to the point that your rig isn't any better than the one I sold a year ago (which was most recently upgraded a year b...

It's impossible for the rope to be like in WA, they've stated so themselves, it's a different physics engine.

It's available for preorder now for $24.99/£18.99/€22.99 (-25% off if you have Worms Revolution). You also get a copy of Worms Revolution and obligatory mcguffins for preordering. Surprised to see it's already coming out in 3 weeks, they sure crank them out fast. Now I wonder when they're going to s...
