Superfrog is the best game ever made and I agree with Pooka on that fact! And great site by the way Pooka I go on it all the time! But yeah Superfrog was really the first game I really got into, back in 94 on the CD32, my whole family got addicted to it, my mother, aunties etc. But then in 95 my CD32 got nicked so for 9 years I was unable to play it. But last year I really got the urge to play it again, so I forked out £90 for a CD32 and then £40 for Superfrog (just shows how desperate I was to play it). I know there emualtion for free, but it just doesn't have the same feel. And it's safe to say that I've gotten addicted to playing it again! So Superfrog rules and Mario and Sonic can go jump of a cliff for all I care!

It is remarkable. However, I also love Mario. It's just not quite as good.

Although Mario 64 is hard to beat, as is Mario World...

Pooka, don't change colors! :?

I wouldn't say perfect. I need more fan content for one thing.

But this isn't about super-frog.co.uk, this is a thread about Superfrog... so I'll start the ball rolling with...

...what's the best world, and why?

Project-F. Why? It's a welcome change in gameplay.

I really like the Ancient Pyramid World. Just great level designs and baddy designs. Especially the eyes that shoot at you! But probably the best thing about the world is the music, I love the music!

I like the music for World 4 too, but I prefer World 5's music, so much that I wrote a MIDI of it myself.

World 1 sticks out in my mind as being the definitive SuperFrog choon as it were. It's appropriately triumphant with a hint of incompetence and silliness. My favourite piece of pre-Bjorn Team17 music.

I'd love to hear a remix of the World 1 music done properly.

Yeah the first world is the one that really does stand and what people really first think of when they think of Superfrog, but I still think World 4 is the best!

Well, I got round to downloading MODPlug so I cound listen to those MODs off Pooka's website. You're right, they are rather good, especially World 5.

Now if only AmigaForever accepted debit cards...

Hey, my site has MP3s WAY before Dream17 even existed.

Uh, that is to say, yeah, you could have got the MP3s off this site, nobody appreciates SupSuper's work.

Honest.

Mind you, I've also got MODTracker as well, now. This may well come in handy.
