Army Men game in development...?

Team17 are supposedly working on a new title in the Army Men franchise, originally developed by the now defunct 3D0. Feel free to discuss it here.

They were basically plastic soldiers fighting. Good concept, pulled off very badly. Think Toy Story soldiers and you've got the sort of idea.

I've always hated that game. I had a friend who liked it and insisted we play it sometimes. It was pretty bad.

As a concept it has such great potential, the Micro Machines of RTS. It's a shame how shoddily made the games were in the past (I remember one game in the franchise getting a 7/10 from OPM and they were all saying "Well, it's an Army Men game. But what's this? It's actually... good???")

If this is true, I hope T17 can do the concept justice.
