Worms 4 = $20 USD?

For Boggy B and his mates. If they existed, of course.

Worms 4 = $20 USD?

Post by Zeor » Mon Sep 19, 2005 2:15 am

It's a good deal and all... but a little too good, I think. I'm no expert on these things, but wouldn't such a low price affect how much Team17 makes off the game...? Doesn't quite seem fair.

Oh well, I suppose it's good news for us on this side of the pond. 20 bucks? Wow. It's easy to spend that much at a fast food restaurant if you bring a few people.

I think the general idea is to appeal to more people with the lower price, making more money in the long run.

That's what I thought too, but wow, 20 is a bit much. That's less than half the price of many new games.

I wonder if I could import it... I mean, I spend $20 at the pub.

The server time must have been changed at some point -- look, yours registers as 3 minutes before mine.

Okay, well, I deleted it and will post it below.

"The postage and packing would bring it up a bit in most cases, though."

I think he was talking about importing it.

The low price is a good news. I wasn't sure if I was going to get W4, but now I probably will.
