For Boggy B and his mates. If they existed, of course.

It doesn't. Team 17 have stated that they didn;t have time to implement the Wifi. Assuming WOW sells well, I expect Wifi will pop up in the sequel.

It's fun because it's Worms but W:OW DS really seems unfinished. Outsourcing to Gamesauce was not a wise move. I'm all for giving newer/smaller developers a chance but you can quickly tell that it was made by amateurs. The DS is capable of a much better 2D Worms game.

If it is a Worms DS, it would be... interesting.

I highly doubt we'll be seeing a handheld 3D Worms title in the future. 3D Worms is complex enough on a TV screen without shrinking it down to the size of a handheld.

It is a shame there will be no Wi-Fi support with worms but its great that they are putting the game on handhelds. The thing is, if fans show their support for this venture and post requests on the developers websites, then there will be a sequel and there probably will be Wi-Fi support.

Considering the complexity of coding something like Wormnet for DS or PSP, I think the developers don't want to spend all of their time coding it, just to find that they don't have the amount of users to justify it.

It's more to do with the tools not being readily available at the time. Coding for the PSP's Infrastructure mode is hectic - worse than for the PS2 - and the Wifi devkits weren't readily available to Gamesauce (the WOW DS port team) at the time. I do hope Team 17 take the helm next time a Worms handheld game is made for the DS though, as Gamesauce did an awful job.
