Retro Gamer 23

Post by Ash » Thu Mar 30, 2006 4:50 pm

Hi guys, just thought you all might like to know that I have written a Worms article for Retro Gamer. It's in Issue 23 and features an exclusive interview with Andy Davidson as well as shots from Total Wormage and some original concept art.

Let me know what you think.

Fantastic work. Picked it up today, and it's a marvellous read. This month's issue is particularly swanky as a whole, too.

What does he say? Does he speak of his latest community-focused game in development?

The magazine isn't on sale in Cheshire and I don't have a car, money, bike, relative or friend in another county, letterbox, door or indeed legs. I can also only read text from a computer screen and me and my family, and my neighbourhood, are all allergic to paper. Please can you help me?!

Whee.

Although it doesn't talk much at all about what he has planned, though :|

That's because he didn't tell me. Andy wants news to come from his own site first....and besides, Retro Gamer looks backwards by design.

About that site, it's still just this:

Although in fairness, we can now apparently e-mail him. Anyone tried it yet?

Yep. No answer back, though. I doubt he'll remember me anyway.

That site is how I first tracked Andy down. At that time it was just a white page with an email address on. I only knew it was his site because his name was in the HTML source. Took a lot of Googling to find it.

Don't be disheartned by the lack of a reply. Andy didn't reply to my first mail for about two months. He's a busy guy.

That HTML code scares me. First time I see someone misspell "Arial". And <META name="!" content="!!!!"> :?

I emailed Andy Davidson, but there was no reply. :( .

Is that the only thing on his website or will there be more things put in.

What about the screenshots of Total Wormage that you got from Kaladron?

I expect I'll get some screenshots up at some point. Just been a bit overwhelmed with other work at the moment.
