worms:dc sound samples

i'd like to know which file format the soundsamples in ..\WormsDC\TWSAMPLES\DEFAULT are!
maybe someone knows a program to convert them to wav!
because i'd like to make a soundbank for w2/w:a/wwp!

They're in IFF Audio Format. Easily converted with the right software.

i tried 4 diffrent tools/converters, but none of them could open them!
they were not recognized as iff files!
nor any other historic soundfile... :(

Add ".iff" to the end of the filenames, that'll shut 'em up.

In order to convert the ifles on a PC I use an old MS-DOS program called CONVERT.EXE that came with Worms United PC-CD.

i used convert.exe (v1.3b (c) 1994 jesus villena) too!
maybe i got the syntax wrong...
