[worms on PS1] meaning of a sound

For Boggy B and his mates. If they existed, of course.

[worms on PS1] meaning of a sound

Post by reup » Fri Mar 10, 2017 10:17 pm

Hello guys,

What a great day I found this site !!!!
I played a loooooooot with a friend on Worms (PS1)(1997) - for me the best game to play with a friend ;) - and we argued on the meaning of a sound.
I hear xxx, he hears yyy and we argue again on that subject (funny argue) ...

Can you please answer this and close this 20 years discution ?

the sound is from a gameplay on youtube -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhhCcvuB__Q#t=3m50 (what the worm say before dying @ 3m50s)

Thank you and again GG for your games !

Hey there. We're... not very active around here lately. :P

Anyway that sound is definitely "oh dear." What were your other guesses?

Yeah, no question about that sound.

There is quite a bit of other speech in Worms where I wondered what the hell they were saying. Mishearing a worm is how I added the nonsense word yabunde to my vocabulary. Just Googled it now and discovered it can be a given name more commonly spelt Yabundej. I really want to know what that name means!
x_+
