You glitch the game into making them climb through the level like so :D:

LOL that is nice! I never got past that level as well.

Oh and M3ntal, if you're still stuck on that highland level, here's how I do it (suprisingly I remember this still..).

The trick part is this

| |
| |
| ::
| |
| |
| |
|
__________|

where : is the destructible part.

I send one lemming through, set him as a bomber (or whatever it's called) and balloon him up, if you time it right it knocks part of the destrucitble wall out. Then I send another lemming through, set him as climber and he will climb up the wall and into the small gap in the desturctible wall. As soon as he stands up I mortar him, and he will not only destory the wall but land perfectly back in the hole. Then you can use him to bridge the water and free the other lemmings.

Heh, i did exactly that a few days ago Brainiator ;). I was wondering if it could be done with no deaths though. I checked gamefaqs and they had a walkthrough that said it could.

If memory serves, that's where I got stuck too. Cheers!

Finished it yesterday, with gold for all tribes :D. I found another way of glitching lemmings through the landscape using a rope and an inside corner as well.

Classic example of a freudian slip if you ask me.

Well, as this thread is about Lemmings, I feel free to talk about other one:
Anyone else here also likes Lemmings Paintball?

Depends if you like the idea of lemmings trying to kill you, rather than you trying not to kill lemmings.

Ohh! Yes, I do! Lemmings Paintball is pretty silly though. Its 3D, and no digging/climbing etc.

Well no, it's a totally different game, just happens to be marketed under the Lemmings title.

Even more so. You still fired worms weapons in a worms sort of way in WB, but never used paintball guns in Lemmings.

I've never really gotton into the lemmings thing, sure I've got it for my CD32 and I play it every so often, but I've never been able to get a addicted to it or even see what all the fuss about it is. That is just my opinion though!

Um, sorry this thread's a bit old, but it's still on the front page, right?

Yeah, I did go through a period when younger of obsessing about Lemmings. I own Lemmings for Windows '95 which, as has already been mentioned, was a compilation of Lemmings and ONML, but sans some of the more "original" levels (such as the ones on customised backgrounds, and the stupidly fast level). It also had the handy dandy "skip level" feature, which applied cumulatively means I can now access any level I like. Trouble is, I got to the stage where I simply couldn't work out any more levels...

My record:

Lemmings
Fun: 28/28
Tricky: 28/28
Taxing: 12/29
Mayhem: 3/29
TOTAL: 71/114

ONML!
Tame: 16/16
Crazy: 8/20
Wild: 4/20
Wicked: 7/19
Havoc: 4/20
TOTAL: 39/95

GRAND TOTAL: 110/209

I also own Lemmings Paintball, which I'm useless at.

Clearly this thread is clairvoyant. Team 17's new PSP game will actually be a version of Lemmings!
