Lemmings

Post by M3ntal » Wed Mar 02, 2005 8:08 pm

Just wondering if anyone has finished them all? I've finished Lemmings, Oh No More Lemmings, Xmas Lemming, and all but one zone on Lemmings 2: Tribes. It's the Classic zone, i figured out a bit of a cheat to get through most other zones - kill off all but 2 lemmings on the first level then you just have to get the two lemmings through the rest - but i reached a level in Classic that required more and couldn't be bothered to redo the entire zone. I'm tempted to have another try, actually...

Go back and do an easy level, saving more lemmings as necessary. The extra survivors get carried across along all of the levels you've already done.

I went out with a lemming, once. She was a real great gal but before I knew it, she'd gone and thrown herself off a cliff. And all I'd said was that she should wear something different from blue, once in a while. Oh well, plenty more fish in the sea, eh?

Believe it or not, but I've never played a Lemmings game before.

Lemmings isn't just a Amiga classic, it's also a PC classic :)
I don't think I ever finished them, but I played Lemmings, Oh No More Lemmings and Xmas Lemmings. And Lemmings 95, but that's a special edition for Windows with the levels from the first 2 games.

I'm ashamed to say that I've only ever played Lemmings 3D.

I finished Lemmings and Lemmings 2: The Tribes. Makes me feel a little bit nostalgic to think about the old days of computer games where most of the games had new concepts of gameplay. Lemmings was pure genius in that.

Lemmings 2: The Tribes is the last great Lemmings game, anything 3D ist just bad, it has to be pure 2D. Same thing with Worms, 3D ruins the great gameplay of the first 2.

It's unfortunate, because ANWOL actually looked rather good until I finally got to play it. Revolutions was quite good, but not as good as it could've been.

I'm replaying Lemmings 2. I've done the Beach and Outdoor zones, now for the Egyptian...

i have Revolutions. it was good since at the time i didn't have means to replay the old Lemmings games, but as i now found out it's not as good as the others. at least it works like 2d with 3d graphics, which doesn't make it so crappy. and i liked the intro movie :P

I always got stuck at one point on Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings. So I gave up. I might try again later.

I also played Lemmings, but that was on the Amstrad. The last level was quite mind-boggling. :?

i've just got Lemmings 2: The Tribes and i must say it's real confusing. confusing in the sense that i can only play with the Classic tribe because i can't figure out what the hell are the other's abilities :?

Hang on... how does one do the Classic level 'So Close Yet So Far Away'?

I played Lemmings 2 on my SNES, but never finished it. What a superb game.
