Nintendo DS

Post by Jonah » Mon Dec 26, 2005 3:09 pm

Well I've had a Nintendo DS for Christmas and all I can say is, WOW. Ok, it may not look all that sleek when it's folded down but hey, when you flip that screen the wow factor kicks in. Yes the PSP spec wise is superior and yes it's a little media center for those who want to watch movies on a minature screen, and listen to MP3's on a machine which compared to an I-Pod is like a brick. But the DS, it's dual screen and it has Sonic Rush and Mario Kart DS. Sorry, just a little excited but the console is well cool. Just a note however regarding the PSP, one can not help but admire the machine overall. Wishing all DS and PSP users a happy holiday.

Hi,

just sorting out the wi-fi thing now actually, buying a dongle as we speak. When it comes, my friend code will be yours.

It looks nicer. If you're going to buy an iPod would you like to buy the clunky 1st generation iPod with its selection wheel and 5 buttons, or the iPod Nano with its integrated wheel/button system and sleek design?

i suppose your right, it does look nicer but am not going to bother buying one incase nintendo release an even newer ds with screens as small as the game boy micro!!!

i think if they did that it will make it another inch smaller...

But they're not going to. If the screen gets smaller the specs change and every DS game released so far becomes incompatible because they're designed for the screen resolution the DS uses. The touch screen has to remain a particular resolution, so it's unlikely they'll knock out a smaller-screened one.
