Question about Mario Kart DS

Post by Jonah » Fri Dec 30, 2005 10:10 pm

Hi all,

Does anyone think that Mario Kart DS(even though fantastic), in one player mode set to 150cc mode is one of the most enjoyable unfair games ever?

It gets better. The difficulty, I mean.

Also, yes.

It's unfair but then again the entire game is also unfair because it contains the Blue Shell.

Hardly. If you're far enough back to get one, zapping the leader of the race is hardly likely to do you much good.

It's not the blue shell that makes it unfair, it's the way that everyone else seems to get much better weapons than you on 150cc that does.

How many times have you been in the top 3 on the last lap only to get hit with lightning, multiple red shells, the big bullet weapon, and THEN, if you survive, a blue shell? That's what's unfair! lol.

It's all about getting snaking down, which I can't seem to!

I wish you could do more with wifi though, like the balloon battles. I guess I can't complain though, its the first handheld game I've played with people from elsewhere on the planet... with the gameplay in question being very smooth at that!
