Where is everyone?

Post by FW » Thu Mar 31, 2005 2:51 pm

Just wondering what happened to you all. Seems like this forum has been abandoned and vacant for a couple of days now. Which brings me to my follow up question, where is everyone?

I've avoided posting - I feel kind of obsessive when I go to a forum hosted on my own website to find that every forum has my name under Most Recent Post... :P

I know what you mean. :)

Anyway, I still check this place every 2-3 days or so. I only post at forums whenever a topic is interesting to me (and a popular topic is not neccessarily* interesting). And, when I need help (see my other topic, about WormShell).

*I hope I spelled that right.

I've only just joined but I check everyday to see if there's anything which I feel like is worth replying too!

I'm struggling to actually view the forum, so I'm rarely visiting at the moment. I assume a few other people (such as Betong) are the same.

I'm the same as well Alex, but it's not really that bad. Everything is readable and in more or less the right place, it's just the borders are missing.

And the backgrounds. And so links when rolled over are horrible.

It's usable, but it's not exactly nice, easy or comfortable to use compared to what it should be.

actually the backgrounds are really like that. i'll see if i can tone down the roll over color to something more readable.

i'll see if i can point down the problem with the buggy forum on Firefox. though, to do so, you're forcing me to actually download and install Firefox. THE HUMANITY! :P

It is a Firefox issue - I'm viewing the forum in Firefox and all you get is the purple background. It didn't load liek this when I tried the Preview version, so I assume it's something that's happened as a result of, say, the Dream17 titlebar being placed at the top. Or something.

Maybe we should drop the titlebar and replace the "PurplePulse" logo with the Dream17 one...

True, but we really do need a purple skin with the Dream17 logo on it somewhere.

Best way to do that is just to invite more people.

There are, of course, but the problem is that they don't know about this forum.
