Where is everyone?
Just wondering what happened to you all. Seems like this forum has been abandoned and vacant for a couple of days now. Which brings me to my follow up question, where is everyone?

I've avoided posting - I feel kind of obsessive when I go to a forum hosted on my own website to find that every forum has my name under Most Recent Post...

Anyway, I still check this place every 2-3 days or so. I only post at forums whenever a topic is interesting to me (and a popular topic is not neccessarily* interesting). And, when I need help (see my other topic, about WormShell).
*I hope I spelled that right.
well you can't expect this to be as active as the Team17 Forum.
and i'm more of a reader than a poster.

And the backgrounds. And so links when rolled over are horrible.M3ntal wrote:I'm the same as well Alex, but it's not really that bad. Everything is readable and in more or less the right place, it's just the borders are missing.
It's usable, but it's not exactly nice, easy or comfortable to use compared to what it should be.
^^ CURSE YOU PHPBB!
actually the backgrounds are really like that. i'll see if i can tone down the roll over color to something more readable.Alex wrote:And the backgrounds. i'll see if i can point down the problem with the buggy forum on Firefox. though, to do so, you're forcing me to actually download and install Firefox. THE HUMANITY!

It is a Firefox issue - I'm viewing the forum in Firefox and all you get is the purple background. It didn't load liek this when I tried the Preview version, so I assume it's something that's happened as a result of, say, the Dream17 titlebar being placed at the top. Or something.
Maybe we should drop the titlebar and replace the "PurplePulse" logo with the Dream17 one...

True, but we really do need a purple skin with the Dream17 logo on it somewhere.

There are, of course, but the problem is that they don't know about this forum.SupSuper wrote:well there's nothing stopping you from going mad or something.Zero72 wrote:I'd like to do something interesting to stir things up, but... Yeah.
