Negative Events and Occurrences 3.0

Post by MtlAngelus » Fri Jun 14, 2013 4:50 am

Figure we need one of these.

I missed the Humble Indie Bundle 8. I thought it would last longer, I finally got some paypal credit and... it's over. My life is now forever incomplete. :(

Calf muscle cramp, hooray for screaming in pain in the middle of the night. Was hard to get to sleep when my nerves were trolling me, making me think it was going to happen again.

I've gotten a few of those, not fun indeed.

Something particularly weird happened today. Apparently, a really small tornado struck really close to my workplace and teared down a few power lines(among other things*), causing a power outage in the area. This happened sometime before we opened(we open at 4:30 AM), so we had to work the entire day without electricity. Which was not fun at all.

If all you wanted was the Steam keys I can spare most of those if you cared to hit me up. I pretty much just got it for the soundtracks and poor impulse control.

Myself, in lieu of dumping a bunch of shit nobody wants to hear, I'll say work has been a bit butts lately, hard to hold the place down with most of the managers out sick or on vacation, and my left thumb likely has a chronic repetitive stress infliction. Woo.
There was a signature here. It's gone now.

What've you been using your left thumb for? I had a crappy mouse at my first job that hurt my right thumb, but no lasting damage thankfully.

Nah, it's okay. I probably can't even run most of these games anyway. I just sort of wanted to own all the main numbered Humble Bundles, for no logical reason. :p

Thanks for the offer tho. :)

Had a really weird dream last night that everything was on fire and that people were saying my ass was too big.
Kinda freaked me out.

Of course only the negative events thread caught on. :P
Well, I got sick during my visit to LA, which was quite unpleasant. But overall the trip was really fun though and totally worth it. E3 went well, but I didn't have time to look at anything.

I still haven't quite brought myself to switching to Firefox due to the impending death of Opera.
With thanks to XxDangerxX and Aku 13 for the Av!

I keep dreaming about faraway people coming to visit me.

I guess this isn't a really negative event, it just kind of highlights that I, like, don't really have many actual local friends. :/

I'm getting old. Just turned 26 and I'm still wondering where the hell time is going.
Not as old of some of you I know. But dang, I really hate getting older.

The way I see it, be happy for your current age, because it's not going to get better. :P

Being in college at 26 just makes me feel all the older..... It's kind of depressing....

I reserve the right to refer to you all as Old Men.

Except that's what I've been calling Bonz before. Hm. I think I'll have to refer to him as Gramps.

I beat you to the punch there by calling myself Old Man Zeor on previous occasions.

I make fun of me so you don't have to!

Don't worry, you're growing older at the same rate we are.
