The Worm Stories join the historical preservation. Unlike Worm Mad's stories, these were posted out in the open in the early days of the forum (before OD?). It started as just a silly forum game but ended up evolving into a whole series. Probably still very silly though. :P

I'm not sure if I can bring myself to read those again. :P

Yeah. Although it was still nice to hear what different people sounded like.

Interesting story about 17C: Radio Edition - Initially, UnKnown X claimed he was some kind of audio master so we sent all the sounds to him. After about a year of him saying he'd almost finished it and it was a lot of work, he sent me what he'd done (after I told him I'd finish it myself). He'd put together about half of it and hadn't done anything noticeable to improve audio quality or anything like that. In fact, it seemed like he'd just put them together in sequence which was basically what I did for the rest of it. Only it didn't take me a year. It took me a week.

I'd love to do a remastered edition or a sort of live show podcast thing, at some point, but it might be hard to get the band back together.

I sure couldn't! :D But yeah, I think they work better as memories of the rough plot/characters and the fun we had making them. They haven't aged well (from the small bits that caught my eye as I was pdf-ising them).

Of course it is. I'm just being silly.

Anyway. I lost complete interest after reading episode 5.

Maybe the vampire thing got a little overplayed, don't you think?

To be fair, I think it's funnier if you were on the forum at the time. Most of the characters are based on real forum users and the humour comes from the exaggeration of their habits/personality traits (for example, Blinx used to spell things wrong all the time, etc).

On the other hand, you are history's greatest monster.

But yeah, if vampires aren't your thing, I can see why you might have got bored. Buffy and Angel were big influences. Remember, this was written before TV and film were full of crappy cut-price vampires. Back then, vampires were still cool.

EDIT: Oh, and Episode 6 is pretty vampire-free, so there.

So... did this die off? :/

I would kind of at least like to see the third seasons again...

UPDATE:

So, I found the 17's Company Series 3 episodes and it seemed like I'd already looked over/edited them (since one included a joke about a hyperlink not working anymore). This seems to tie in with vague memories of reading them all. I seem to remember the series being fairly weak for the most part, but with a couple of stand-out gems. Am I being too hard on myself? Not hard enough? I guess you'll find out soon enough as I'll be sending the .pdfs over to Sup very shortly! :D

Yay!

I don't remember that much about 17C season 3, actually, but I remember 72WTD season 3 being very interesting.

And 17's Company Series 3 is up! I even added direct series-links which take you directly to the right place to make you feel extra direct even though you can probably see the whole thing in one screen so the direct link won't make a difference as you'd never have to scroll in the first place! Huzzah!

Hooray! :D

In other news, I've read through and .pdf-ised 1772: The Sitcom Movie and it's actually not that bad! I'll be sending it to Sup shortly. Then it's onwards to 72WTD: Series 3. :)

Oh wow, I remember these! Did I record for them? I seem to remember recording something, though I'm not in the episodes that have audio versions. Hmm...
