The bad problem is that buying anything from them will not help the servers magically appearing in eastern europe or Asia, for example. This is the biggest problem of Twitch which is yet struggling to become an expansive company. Laggy streams on fastest ISPs... Come on.

Nah, you just had to specifically tag the video to be saved, assuming the site was in the mood to remember your login and let you change settings, which is apparently now rare. If they did change that then I'm pretty much out.

They're not gonna pull off being an expansive company by pissing off its entire userbase with completely broken infrastructure and revoked features, that's for sure.

edit: Ha! Ha! BORK'D. Good thing that's still cool.

Friend of mine mentioned a good Twitch alternative that I should check out one of these days. I've actually considered trying to stream Mega Man X7 as a "let's suffer together" adventure. It's the Sonic '06 of Mega Man.

That said, this computer still records mic input like ass.

So have your avatar with a butt wearing the Zero helmet since it records like ass.
I think you could do a capture and put up some videos on Youtube honestly. With your own channel. It'd be fun to watch even after the fact since half the time I might not be able to jump on a live stream only.

Been streaming stuff again in the last couple of days. I streamed Odallus: The Dark Call in three installments which will be viewable for a limited time. It was a pretty solid castlevania-a-like which held quite true to NES design principles, often for better and occasionally for worse.

For a less limited time, I've started making highlights of some more noteworthy moments, such as a hard boss, a cool boss and some hilarious future cop stuff.

I ordered a USB headset which should theoretically bypass all of the smelly sound card and 3.5mm-jack crap and give me a mic quality which is acceptable for this century. Hope that works out.

Recent highlights include some Saints Row 3 pointless violence and a successfully concluded Death Road to Canada run.

If you want a suggestion for a "semi-professional" mic that has good pickup quality, I use a Blue Snowball for my streaming and it works really well. They're about $70.

Couple of people mentioned those when I was talking about getting the headset, yeah. I'll definitely keep them in mind for later on.

My usual Sunday night depression turned into a pretty fun full stream of Megaman Sprite Game.

Made a highlight of the part I thought was the best.

Started chipping at Mischief Makers and am having fun with it, actually. It's a pretty active broadcast. Honestly the game's better than I remembered. The level design keeps you on your toes.

Highlights: Running like hell from lava explosions, and this pretty neat boss.

I've streamed some more Mischief Makers, but Twitch has started being a bastard to me. At least I assume that's where the problem is. Some other friends of mine have been having varying degrees of difficulty with it as well, and I sure haven't changed anything on my end besides a marginal change in resolution.

I'm hoping this will go away by itself.

Also I drew some placeholder graphics to make things slightly prettier while I'm setting up or exploding.

Problem seems to have blown over. I'm still unsure about whether changing my resolution made any difference, but I did stream for 40 perfectly good minutes at the new resolution in part 3, so that really shouldn't be it. I set it back there just so my placeholder graphics are the right aspect, but I'll go back down to the old setting if it breaks again.

Anyway, wrapped up Mischief Makers.

Maybe UN Squadron (again) next.

Huzzah! I did UN Squadron again and didn't screw it up this time. In fact I did really darn well!

Highlights: Fortress, Canyon, final level, boss, ending and fun credits.

I had a lot of fun with this stream. It's an old favorite, especially for its outstanding soundtrack. I even tried to stay interesting while I was grinding the quartermasters for cash.

Hey Zeor TV lives at a shiny new URL: https://www.twitch.tv/zeor_tv

I tried streaming that weird old Japan-only PS1 game called LSD and it was less exciting than I expected.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is really hard and really brown. It has a couple of redeeming moments though.
