Poor Slick. :(

Well, now you can focus on narrating our journey. :3 I wish I could draw something clever and funny but I don't have the time. And if I had the time, I don't have the skills anyway.

I don't know why but the fact that you got over 900 pounds of meat and were only able to take 100 pounds back is really frustrating.

Also *phew* so glad I'm not the first person to die. Although, there's still a chance I'll be the first person to die from our caravan.

RIP Slick. Cracking up at the narration though. Speaking of which, I like how the entire description of the hail storm event is just "Hail storm". I'm like "hail whAOW OW OW"

Not sure what happened with all those critters there. I guess when all you have is a beam saber, every problem looks like a dead thing.

At least I saved on ammo.

I dunno, you may be collecting antibodies for every known disease.

You slippery futurist. You're just not seeing the unbridled pleasure in decorating the countryside with Swiss-cheesed carcasses.

FRIDAY

Caravan 1
Image
The gang reaches the South Pass. Here, we'll have to make a decision on what direction to go.
Image
Image
SupSuper demands that everyone goes to the Green River crossing. Says there is a famous frozen yogurt stand on the way that he want's to try.
Image
Need to get some food soon guys.

Caravan 2
Image

Image
No one sick? No one dead? You guys are moving right along and catching up in progress with the other caravan. Well, sort of. They did leave a month ahead of you.

SATURDAY

Caravan 1
Image
Sup Super got his frozen yogurt from an Indian Medicine man. He smelled like burnt hair and the yogurt was actually curdled buffalo milk.
"Tasted surprisingly good after you picked all the hairs out of it." SupSuper revealed.
Image

I'm sure this has nothing to do with what he ate.

Caravan 2
Image

Man you guys are moving!
Besides that one bump you unexpectedly hit -
Image
every one and everything has been going smoothly.
Image
You made it to the South Pass!
Unsure of where to go HK checks the map.
Image
"Hmm, there is a famous frozen yogurt stand on the way to Green River crossing..."
The caravan votes on where they should go.
If you can read this....you're not blind.

The shadowy specter of Slick there is a bit spooky. He's just like "you gave me meeeeaaslleees"

And hell yeah we're catching up. Somehow.

Hope we go to Fort Bridger. I want nothing to do with that yogurt. :3

Yeah, I hear that frozen yogurt is overrated anyway. Who wants fat free?

Life is stupid. Three day update today.

Sunday
Caravan 1
Image
Maybe things are going to get better. Seems like an easy day ahead of everyone.
Image
Picture doesn't look so bad...
Image
Image
Well defiantly not going to just run into the river like a bunch of idiots. It doesn't look very far so Splapp decides it's in everyone's best interest to caulk the wagon and float over nice and easy.
Besides spending money on that nasty frozen yogurt has made everyone frugal with their money and they didn't want to pay to have a ferry take them across.
Image
*takes hat off*
Let us all have a moment of silence for Bloopy, Munkee and SupSuper.
They would have made it - but unfortunately only after this tragic event they realized they caulked the wagon with the skin cream that would have cleared up Slicks measles.
So we also know how Slick really died. Suffocation from caulk.
:(

Caravan 2
Image
Image
Where in the world are you guys finding these limbs?

Monday
Caravan 1
Image
Splapp sees a mirage of a giant tortuous and becomes afraid.
Image
I suppose Splapp may be losing his mind being all alone. :(
Caravan 2
Image
Image
You guys made it to Fort Bridger! I don't know why you're all excited, those TeePees aren't toilets.
But this also reveals you did not go get that frozen yogurt HK wanted so badly. HK punches StarNMoon in the stomach.

Tuesday
Caravan 1
Image
Well Splapp needs some food...
Image
At least you had a successful hunt old bean. Maybe things will be okay for you after all.
Image
:(
They took all of your underwear! You're not sure what you have underwear for since you've been naked this whole trip anyways - but it's the nerve of it all I suppose.
Caravan 2
Image
Image
Your caravan tests the wild fruit by giving it to Star and Moon. You say it's a gift for being such a good person.
Your caravan stops and waits just in case they need to bury StarNMoon.
If you can read this....you're not blind.

Oh my god at Caravan 1. I figure Splapp got out by tying the others' bodies in a raft, like the Black Freighter from Watchmen.

And this is how Caravan 2 looks like from now on:

But it was Splapp who had all his clothes stolen. :P

I guess maybe our caravan decided to strip off in solidarity? :?

But, yeah, it's pretty funny how things are turning round. Maybe slow and steady really will win the race! (What do you mean this isn't a race? I painted go faster stripes on the side of our caravan and everything!)
Worm Mad - is he a mad worm or a person mad about worms? I'll give you a clue - it's not the first one.

Thats a very specific reference there with the Black Freighter. The Comic within a comic. Watchmen was a good read.

And yes, you're right WormMad - I think Error has made an error with his post. But he put effort into it. So there is that at least.

:o By crud disaster can strike quickly in this game. RIP all those dudes.

Starting to think Splapp is now the most likely to get a movie deal out of this. Like Cast Away with a wagon instead of an island.
I don't know why you're all excited, those TeePees aren't toilets.
Not with that attitude.

Wednesday
Caravan 1
Image
Losing sleep, exhausted and half his underwear collection has been stolen...
It's starting to take it's toll on poor Splapp-me-boy
Image

Caravan 2
Image
StarNMoon refuses to eat the wild fruit this time. As if he learned something by now.
BeardyFella pushes him outa the way because good food isn't going to go bad while he's around.
Image
But maybe you guys should REALLY stop eating anything that looks like fruit you find on the side of the road.

Thursday
Caravan 1
Splapp
Image
Image
You've made it to Soda Springs! You remember how this was something the whole caravan was looking forward too. :D

....
Image
:(

Caravan 2
Image
Image
The whole caravan has to stop because StarNMoon is exhausted.
They decide to give him a break from everyone who as he says "keeps stressing him out" and threw him on top of the caravan for a time out.
StarNMoon hears laughter and jokes while ridding atop the caravan feeling left out.

Poor Splapp. Forever alone.

And I guess it wasn't such a good idea to let the oxen rest while Star'nMoon pulled the cart. Oh well, at least the oxen feel rest and strong now.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess, in a strictly statistical sense, that Splapp's odds of making it halfway across the untamed continent by himself aren't great.
