Wormegon Trail

Post by Slick » Thu Nov 12, 2015 6:52 pm

Because why not.

I'll update this every day.
Days that I'm not at work such as Saturday/Sunday I'll post double on Fridays and Mondays.

We'll be following two Caravans and staring pretty much the only recently active people here.
FEEL PRIVILEGED.

Also I will say that I didn't play this haphazardly - and my goal is to make it with everyone to Oregon for both caravans.
However direction and starting times were chosen at random.

THE SUSPENSE!

Lets start off then!

Caravan 1
Image
(forgot to screenshot until a few days after start) BUT basically this is Caravan 1's starting supplies - leaving June 1st
Image
Image
First of many rivers to cross.
Image
"This is nothing" Splapp says while girding his loins.
Image
Success!

Caravan 2
Image
Starting with these supplies on July 1st
Image

Off to a good start! Although starting off in July is the latest you can start. :o
I suppose HK was busy doing her make up or Zeor was procrastinating. Either way, cross your fingers - it's time to cross the river.
Image
Image
"Yeah, we got this" Zeor says with confidence and decides to ford the river.
Image
Suppose so.

What will await our heroes?
I only know. :p

And yes, this is a bit convoluted right now, but future posts will be a lot more simple.

Yeah, sorry I didn't do this, as suggested, but glad you have. It's nice to be on the other side for a change, anyway. :)

Not dead yet. Hooray! Can I continue to not be dead?! We shall see.

The threat of losing a day to explaining why worms measure river width and depth in feet looms. Here's hoping nobody asks!

Some images from before are missing. I'll try and re-host them.

ANYWHO.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
SUNDAY
Caravan 1
Image

Image
The gang stops at Forte Kearney!
It's nice to have a break from all that rain and enjoy the beautiful skys and the #01DF01 colored grass.

Caravan 2
Image

Image
It's a good think you have a few more Oxen stored in your inventory you can replace the stolen one with.
Upon release the ox skips about happily to be out of the purgatory of storage.
Huntakilla names the Ox Filmore.
Beardy isn't happy and keeps talking about finding that thief and force feeding them Star and Moons dysentery extract.

Just can't get a break.

MONDAY
Caravan 1
Image

Image
Kind of a boring week to be honest. But hey! We found some wild fruit. They smell a bit funny but taste fine.

Caravan 2
Image

Image
All the stress of the ox thief must have made WormMad sick!

He has a REALLY high fever.
....
no really...
Image

That must have been one heck of a fever or someone forgot the pizza rolls in the oven. :|

Worm Mad's fever ignited Star&Moon's dysentery fumes!

Presumably to distract me from wondering how the hell we let some guy just steal an ox. You can't exactly just hide one under your coat!

Wait we lost over 800 pounds of food?!

I'll eat one of you guys if I have to.
