No update for today. I'm at home with a flu or some kind of nasty bug. Feeling terrible. And the WT screen caps are at work. So - yeah. :(

Aw. Hope ya feel better soon mate, I just got my flu shot yesterday and hope it'll kick in before the holidays roll around. Don't push yourself too hard and drink lots of soup and eat your broccoli and brush your teeth and look both ways before crossing the street.

Side note, would anyone here be interested in trying to get everyone together to play some games of Worms online? All the games on Steam still have online multiplayer support.

Oh and I'd be willing to do a playthrough of Pokemon where I name all the Pokemon I catch after forum members. Maybe make it a Nuzlocke.

Thank you all for the well wishes.
That animation of StarNMoon makes me laugh every time I see it. :D
Worm Mad that picture is superb.

Here is the end of the line folks.

SUNDAY
Image
Everyone makes it to Fort WALLUIGI!
I suppose Forte Walla Walla was a typo after all.
StarNMoon runs for his little life.
Zeor and HK wonder how there is a sentient head attached to a fort like this.
Beardy puts Worm Mad in charge of Trading with the local Indiworms.
Worm Mad losses most of the caravans money trading for a very soft blanket.

MONDAY
Image
Everyone has made it to The Dalles. This is the last leg of the trip. What an adventure everyone has had!

Seems we have to go down a river... what are your choices?

Image

Well since Worm Mad spent most of all of the caravans money on his soft "binky" blanket, and EVERYONE is sick of this taking so long. They'd rather try and finish the trail today rather than a few more weeks.

"No issue, I can navigate us down the river" Beardy says.

So here you go...

Image

Amazing graphics.

Image

"What kind of steering is THAT?!" Huntikilla screams.
"Let a woman show you how driving is supposed to be done."

*Huntikilla takes the helm.*

Image

.... "GOOD GOING HK" the survivors shout.
"Do you know how much food we lost?!" Zeor shouts.
"What about the poor Oxen?!" Beardy laments.
"I kinda was looking forward to using that wagon axle one day" StarNMoon declares.

..."where is Worm Mad" the caravan wonders.
They then see his body mangled in the rocks with his fist clenched tightly to his soft blanket.
On the bright side of this terrible event, they found $286 cash hiding in StarNMoon's life savings piggy bank that had broken open.
Neat!

The caravan have StarNMoon take them down the rest of the river. Since they were hooking him up to the wagon before to give the oxen some rest, they figure he has enough experience and should be fine.

*SIDE NOTE* If you see those tracks on the side of the shore there, that's where you have to merge over to get off. Basically to beat the game. There was a rock RIGHT next too it. It was a jerk move on the games part.

*StarNMoon takes the helm*
Image

... avast... poor fella. Beardy, you will be missed.
If ONLY that rock hadn't been there in the first place - StarNMoon wouldn't have driven and everyone would be alive.
How could such a terrible thing have happened?!
Slick wrote:THURSDAY

Anyways the caravan come to a strange Indian who... this seems familiar.
Image
It's Gaalfaate and he offers to take you safely across the river as long as he is promised to marry StarNMoon.
StarNMoon completely rejects this offer and says that he'd rather drown.
Be careful what you ask for. Gaalfaate's feelings are deeply hurt and promises such a fate for StarNMoon.
Oh... It was all StarNMoons fault that so many perished. :(

*Zero take the helm*

And you made it!... well, a few of you.
Image

Is this really it?!
Image

Over all state of the wagon
Image

As Zero and Huntikilla continue forward they decide to let the cattle finish the journey as they nap in the back of the caravan. It's been a long trip and a lot of sacrifice along the way.

A bump in the road wakes them up and they look out to investigate.

IF you do this, you need to play a Modded version of Pokemon. :P
Seriously. Take a pokemon and edit their battle sprites to look like the forum members.
Such as a Pidgey being HK once captured - because later on you can use moves like fly.
I mean, I think it would be interesting to watch... however I also don't know how you're going to do it on the forum.
The WT was kinda... a lot to have to read and such but quick enough you could read it andcatch up. I wonder how you'd go about doing it?

I agree with Zero that it would be cool if someone kept the momentum going here.
At this point though I'm going to be jumping back on working on Slicktoon.

I died just before the end, exactly as I foretold! :o

Thankfully, Beardy and Star & Moon died too so I don't feel too bad. :D

But yeah, great stuff throughout Slick and nice foreshadowing with Gaalfate *shakes fist at Gaalfate*

In the end, the survivors make sense. If this were a movie, Zeor would be the male lead (he's got the hero helmet and sabre) and HK would be the female lead (she's...er...the only female character) so they have to make it to the end. All the rest of us were just the quirky expendable secondary characters. :(

As for what to do next, I have a few ideas but probably won't try anything until next year now so if anyone wants to do something before then, go for it.

PS: Happy Birthday, Star & Moon! :D

Yeah, it'd be tough but to be honest I'm just throwing out ideas for games where you have the ability to name party members. :?

Looking my collection, one other idea I had was FTL, which would be doable. If someone happened to have a wrestling game, like WWE or something, that happened to have a fairly in-depth character editor...

But I don't because those games don't appeal to me. :P

You may have lost Beardy, Star'nMoon and Worm Mad, but look on the bright side. You're in Oregon! You can finally start that life together, with no pesky... what was wrong with the other coast again?

Damn I totally forgot about that. I think everyone just kept getting brainsucked and shooting each other in the back? Good times, good times. And now I'm basically X-COM grand poobah, and there's the old games, and new games, and XCOM2 promises to have tons of customization... I'm definitely gonna consider doing this again, thanks for the idea.

There was also ye olde Sims game I never finished, but you and Munkee seemed to be much better at running those anyways.

I just remember being a robot called Zeor Destructopants who got shot in the head and had like 2% health but still managed to get a bunch of kills in that condition. :D It was pretty good times.
