SUNDAY
Splapp

Heavy Fog huh? Maybe resting for a day isn't a bad idea. :/
Splapp you don't look too good mate.

Caravan 2
Image
Hey what a coincidence!
Although this is freezing fog - Everyone huddles together for warmth as StarNMoon looks for firewood in the cold.

MONDAY
Splapp
Image
Image
Woah woah okay okay... I'm not pushing Splapp at this point. I've let him rest for about a good week or so.
In fact I'm going to let him rest until he gets better... but to do that we need more food.
Image
Alright a good - wait what?
You got an extra disease while hunting? I didn't even know that was possible in this game.
Well Splapp has plenty of food. He just needs to rest up and get better.

Image

Well shit.

Caravan 2
Congrats guys, you made it to Fort Boise.
Image
StarNMoon is demanding to get inside to use the restroom - even though the forte still seems to be closed down. StarNMoon has been holding it since they left on this trip!
Huntikilla tried to eat some berries that she had an allergic reaction to.
Beardy is chasing invisible leprechauns.
Zeor and Worm Mad search for a bar off screen to get "loaded".
Image
Hmmm lets check progress.
Image
Holy nuts you guys are so close!
That also means this thread is almost to an end too! :o

Damn Splapp. You fought bravely. You shall be remembered. I demand our caravan to carry his diseased infested body to Oregon as a tribute. He must complete his journey!

IT'S SO SAD. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE SPLAPP.

Considering our health seems to be "very poor" I wouldn't be surprised if one of us were to topple over soon. Here's hoping that we can make it to Oregon as one whole caravan.

Thankfully StarNMoon got enough wood for a fire to keep everyone warm.

A moment of silence for the previous caravan.

WEDNESDAY
Image
A new day.
All accounted for and present - this caravan is doing pretty well.

Image

Zero wakes up to the sounds of Oxen crying getting fainter as the thief drags them off in a big burlap sack.
Beardy wants to find this guy and teach him a lesson.
Worm Mad just wants to go back to sleep.
Huntikilla attaches StarNMoon to the front of the wagon.
StarNmoon sobs as he accepts this treatment imagining it is retribution for that one time he lied to his mother when he was 4 years old.

THURSDAY
Image

I decided to skip a few days of everyone stopping for a blizzard - like 5 times. It's been a bad - snowy November.

Image
Everyone made it to Blue Mountain!
To give you some insight on how close this is to an end - here is the map.

Image

Only one more stop to make before making it to Oregon!
Thank the lord since StarNMoon's bladder is about to burst!

The Caravan takes a vote where to go next.
Image
Everyone but HK chooses The Dalles. But due to some death threats and some physical abuse they go to fort Walla Walla because it sounds slightly Australian.
Women sure do have a way with words. :P

Da caravan
Image

FRIDAY
Worm Mad decides that the quickest way to be done and over with this wretched journey is to go fast. Well "logically" then you can make it go faster by traveling on ice.
*Worm Mad shows a graph with numbers and an illustration of an ice cube sliding on butter*
"If we accelerate while sliding forward we will build up speed and be in Oregon by my calculations....in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Or 1 hour 24 seconds depending on the lunar gravity of the evening." Worm Mad claims.
Every one seems pretty convinced this is a good idea. Being able to get to the end of their journey seems to be on everyone's minds.
Huntikilla claims if this math mumbo jumbo doesn't work she's going to make him eat his own words.

Image

After an entire evening of StarNMoon pouring water on the caravans wheels as it freezes over in a thick ice - the wagons wheels spin in place after an attempt to go up a 4 foot hill.
The wagon waits 6 days for the ice to thaw off and then is able to continue.

SATURDAY
Huntikilla force feeds Worm Mad his graph and chart.

Image

Beardy assures Worm Mad that this too, shall pass.
StarNMoon is hiding on the top of the caravan to breath.
Zeor complains that Worm Mad smells like Sour Kraut.
HK is temporarily satisfied after committing an act of violence.

Man, I'm gonna die just before we reach the end, aren't I? :(

It's tradition, after all. One of us has to bite it within inches of the goal.

Alternatively, whichever one of us always wanted to see the sights of Oregon City has to go blind just before we make it.
"What's it like? Be my eyes. Is it everything we ever dreamed it would be?!"
"Nah, it's shite. Hey, we should have probably stayed in Independence, to be honest. Now, that was a town! Ah well, live and learn."
"Yes...live and learn" *dies*
Worm Mad - is he a mad worm or a person mad about worms? I'll give you a clue - it's not the first one.

So, who's gonna take up the baton once this adventure's done? Between hunger games and Oregon trails, there's been something going on in here for a while now. Seems we should keep the streak going. Maybe we should try to talk SupSuper into doing another XCOM thread or something. :P

We could always have teams of CPU's fight each other Worms 4.

If nobody else wants to I could run that.

Or somebody could play through Pokemon and name their team after Forum members.

I might as well mention that I'm thinking about doing a Dwarf Fortress. I'm just not sure if I'm up for the time investment.
