It's a good level to play if one player is much better than the other. It's not a good one to play if you're battling for the ultimate title of Doctor Awesome. They all have their pros and cons.

I like Jungle Japes. Due to the background and the tune.

I just play on Random.

Apparently they're working on a version of Super Smash Bros for the DS, as well...

Couldn't find any information for the Super Smash Bros DS. Did find the Super Smash Bros. Revolution IGN page though - http://cube.ign.com/articles/615/615412p1.html

Me too, except I think I have Icicle Mountain turned off just because it's hard to do any actual fighting there.

I really don't like Hyrule Temple. Great Bay is good, though.

I like Mushroom Kingdom I and II, especially with the Dr. Mario music on. I'm quoted in NOM-UK as saying there should be a Luigi's Mansion stage. I stand by that.

Not confirmed, but it is a pretty widespread rumor ever since the poll on Nintendo asking what kind of games you'd want to play online included Smash Bros. and Mario Party. Of course, that could just be indicating the Revolution, but a DS version sounds cool as well.

HAL Laboratories did do a version of Super Smash Bros. for the Advance that was only released in Japan, however it featured characters from various Animé shows. I'll leaf through my back-catalogue of Edge Magazines and find out more details for you.

That reminds me, Master Hand & Crazy Hand were a boss in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. Fun game, that. Pity I never had an opportunity to try out the multiplayer.

Hyrule Temple is by far the best four-player level. The best for when you're having a party.

I disagree, old bean!

Its grotesque size tends to work against it, I think. The camera zooms out way too damn far.

Mute City and Brinstar Depths... those are good crazy fun maps.

don't forget big blue

and on Brinstar Depths, the camera does have a tendancy to zoom out if some twit gets stuck underneath

For me it's either Jungle Japes or Mushroom Kingdom, both for the tunes.

So long as you have a fairly large TV, it's just great.

Actually, some friends and I played Hyrule Temple on a 15" monitor once. It was a bit confusing, but most of the fun factor was preserved.

Layout-wise, Hyrule Temple is good stuff, it's just the camera thing that bugs me about it.

And when I said Mute City, I meant Big Blue, but the former is fun too.

Yeah, the size is bad. Termina's Great Bay is a better Zelda level. Much better.

I don't like Mute City. It's too plain and Captain Falcon bugs the hell out of me. Has anyone, by the way, actually managed to get a decent score using Falcon on Home-Run Contest?
