Questionable Worms Art of Yesteryear.
I've been on a bit of a nostaligia trip, what with the forums DYING today, and found myself on my 10 year old laptop looking through all my old worms dregs. I found some really really old art of mine, and I also found some stuff where I was CLEARLY on mind altering drugs. Seriously, I have no idea what some of it is. Maybe some of you guys can remember? Anyways, CHECK OUT DIS SHIZZLE:
Alien "The King of Aliens" King
Philby "No longer 4000" 4000
H "Office Nightmare" K
Swed "Gum Disease" Simon
Ok, now onto the strange stuff...
Colouring Tutorial?
I... I think this is supposed to be Zero?
Psyke wanted a beard, apparently?
Pilot the Pilot
What is this...
...I don't...
...even?
Oh, and both of these images had "iguana" as the title.
...aaaaand that's it for now. There's tons more from where they came from if anyone's interested.

I'm pretty sure we always expected you to be on mind-altering drugs, but those just take the cake. The Colouring Tutorial looks like you just messing around with the Photoshop textures (or whatever they're called) though.Splapp wrote:Ok, now onto the strange stuff...

I think this is almost completely hysterical. Except for the stuff at the top which is really good even though you think it's not. That stuff's just cool. This is all cool! Everything is fantastic.
Re: Questionable Worms Art of Yesteryear.
The canary one is obviously Worms Forts, Pilot the pilot (who I vaguely remember not actually being a pilot) is self-explanatory, and the not-so-family-friendly one was... probably in your step by step guide to picking up Japanese chicks. You did that before, right?
Edit: oh gods, wait, was... "how high can you pee" was an actual mini art competition at one point, wasn't it? Was that your entry? Oh god, this is not a memory I wanted to keep!

I think the canary was the original concept art for Angry Birds :sarcasm:

I believe I've got that first one saved on my computer.
Re: Questionable Worms Art of Yesteryear.
Actually the first time I type lol and mean it. Seriously, I can't stop.
Is that gif the scene from Chicken Run, though, in which a turnip chicken is launched at a wall as a demonstration from the professor chicken guy trying to demonstrate how they will escape? Perhaps you were practising your animation skills

Oh god...that one of Zero almost killed me. Laughing way too hard. I can't even remember seeing most of these! I kinda wanna look in my old folders now but I'm a little scared what I'll find D:
EDIT: Yeah so uh....I found these hahha. I didn't draw them and I'm not even sure who did. They're dated Jan 2008.

OK, here's some more. I did some "forum-member raps" years ago, and some of them are absolutely terrible. There were a few that made me chuckle though:
Aku
Swed Simon
HK
Wormies
And here's some more CURIOUS DELIGHTS of which I can remember NOTHING ABOUT!
Biro-vision
Bucket, choking on his own vomit
A drinker of beards?
Special Offer!
The ear of a pig
Errrrr
Turnips not testes
PLIERS?

Haha, this stuff is great. The raps are hilarious, and I also love that Zero drawing.
I was actually looking at the thread these came from shortly before the forums closed(a bunch of us were on a steam chat and someone linked to it), it was one of those Splapp + Slick randomness threads where I decided to invite myself. They were all like "YOU RUINED IT NOW", so I replied with that first drawing and things kinda snowballed from there.
I can confirm the first one and the last two are mine.HuntaKilla wrote: EDIT: Yeah so uh....I found these hahha. I didn't draw them and I'm not even sure who did. They're dated Jan 2008.

HAVE SOME TERRIBLE OLD MSN DRAWINGS
I was so sad when MSN's drawing feature crapped out Scribbling in it was so fun.

One of the very few times I drew in MSN with Zero...he drew the top image (I THINK) and I responded with the bottom.
WOOPS I RUIN EVERYTHING

Yeah the MSN scribbling feature was fun but also randomly unreliable. Maybe we should set up one of those paintchat things for this place.
Lol this one cracks me up everytime.Splapp wrote:Part 2

Re: Questionable Worms Art of Yesteryear.
I have some really dumb sprite comics from when I was young. Most of them are stupid, not understandable and unfinished.
They still exist digitally, yet I don't have any access to them at the moment.

I love this thread so much
I'd love to dig up some of my old MSN doodles, but getting anything from back then is kind of a pain in the ass for me.
Maybe I'll get to it sometime, meanwhile I just want to say I'm really glad Splapp and HK are around.
