I've played Alien Breed: Tower Assault. Bloody hard thing it is, too.

Too bad Alien Breed 2004 got cancelled. Those screens looked awesome! I would have loved something like that.
Well, maybe if Team17 get their finger out, we'll see a new Alien Breed game in the not too far future.

The PC version is rubbish. I refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Not sure if I totally agree with you. Of course, the original is better, but the PC version is not totally rubbish. I started playing it a week ago, when I only had access to an old 486 (I wouldn't try WinUAE on that). It wasn't bad. Also, the graphics look totally different, which is cool.Squirminator2k wrote:The PC version is rubbish. I refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Hi all, first post,
Yep I'm responsible for the Alien Breed SE retro remake, I hope y'all enjoy it and maybe brought back memories It certainly sticks out as one of my favourites from the Amiga.
Feel free to give feedback/suggestions/ideas etc.
More levels and nasty alien mothers coming to a screen near you soon!

all i have to complain about is the menu. the original one looked all digital and with neat effects, yours is plain boring. i know it's just a menu, but i'm just picky like that
oh, and is it just me or does the music play "speeded up"?

What I'd like to see is a decent 3D remake of Alien Breed Tower Assault, in a similar style to the unreleased Alien Breed 2004. ABTA is definitely my favourite Alien Breed game.
