PC Demos!
Can I make a suggestion?
Although there are links provided in the Softography+ to the Team17 Demo Section, I've often found it to be quite unreliable, plus some of the demos... well, just plain don't exist.
However, after intense frustration, repetition and searching, I've gathered together all the Team17 PC Demos I can found, and have garnered them all into one folder within My Documents.
I have Addiction, Arcade Pool 2, Nightlong, Phoenix, WRF, W3D, W:A, Worms, Worms 2, WB, WWP, and... er, Superfrog.
I was just thinking we (read: I) should perhaps upload all these demos into a folder on Dream17 (or my webspace, if that's too cumbersome), so people can download them for their playing pleasure? After all, I miss the days of good ol' free, downloadable, playable PC Demos...
...any thoughts?

I've generally avoided putting the demos up for reasons I can't seem to recall right now, but yes - definitely sounds like a good idea. I'll give Pooka FTP access so he can stick up what he has.

I've started uploading. It's likely with the amount of demos I have to upload, it'll take all evening.

Unfortunately (AAAARGH!) I had to delete them. We ran out of disk space...! I'm going to see if there are any alternatives... hmm, I reckon I could probably get away with sticking them up on the old Dream17 space... I'll get back to you.

I just emailed you a possible alternative, however if you want to use your space then that's not a problem.
